One of the Malaysian detected in Chikungunya disease in Hong Kong when he has arrived in Hong Kong in 29 Dec 2008. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital on the same day and discharged on 30 Dec. On 26 Dec when he was in Malaysia, he had found with Chikungunya symptom such as fever, fatigue and soar throat infections.
Speaker from Princess Margaret Hospital said, there are 2 Chikungunya cases found in Hong Kong in 2008. This disease has been the epidemic in Africa, Asia and India.
